Bedard picked up his 1st win in a Sox uniform, he pitched 6 innings to hold onto the win. Crawford hit his 1st grand slam in a Sox uniform, breaking open the game. Reddick also was 4-4 in the game, his 1st career 4 hit game. Lackey takes the mound today for  the series win , what 1st's will we see today?

Sox win 9-5 & there were 3 homeruns

Sox beat the Yankees 9-5 & now lead the Yankees by 1 1/2 games, woo hoo. Tek, Ellsbury & Papi each hit homeruns to make Beckett the winning pitcher. There were also some great plays by Pedroia & Scutaro. Lester takes the hill vs Burnett tonight, Let's hope Burnett sux & the Sox take the series.

Jimmy Fund

Sox back in 1st

The Sox have won 2 games against the Rangers by scoring double digit runs and everyone in the line up is hitting the ball well. The pitching has been great as well, Miller takes the mound tonight for the series win. The Sox are in 1st by a full game as the Stankees lost last night, Thanks A's.

Sox finally beat the Rangers

Lackey pitched & held his own as the Sox bats also came alive. Everyone  in the Sox line up each had at least 1 hit, Gonzo homered twice, Jacoby returned & stole 2nd right away. Crawford also stepped it up and got some hits. Papi is set to return tonight as well, as Beckett takes the mound.

Varitek

Vartiek hit his 1st triple yesterday since 2007. I feel that is a sign for Great things to come for the Red Sox. We all know what happened in 2007.

Pedroia tearing it up

Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is hitting .364 with 17 doubles, two triples and 11 home runs in his last 57 games.  Pedroia without a doubt is a catalyst for the Sox when they need to win a game. He steps up to the plate in more ways than 1.

Triple Play,Pedroia's bday and Lackey

Last night aside from the loss The Sox turned a triple play, the 1st since 1994. Lowrie started the triple play, but with Pedroia executing it has key as he had to also avoid Kotchman who was sliding towards him. I also will be at Fenway today to see the Sox take on the Rays. Today is Pedroia's bday & I'm so happy to be there today to see him dominate. Also Lackey is going for his 7 consecutive win.

Sox have a double header vs the Rays today, tonight. The pitching needs to get back on track & the bats need to come out swinging right away & score alot of runs.

Pedroia has extended his hitting streak t as 18 games as the Sox blanked the Orioles 5-0 Miller took the mound. Ellsbury also had 2 home runs.

16 inning win

Last night was the longest game of the 2011 season. Beckett pitched 8 shut out,1 hit, no walks outing. Pedroia & Reddick had some awesome plays to save the game. Pedroia came up with the game winning single in the 16th to give the Sox a well need 1-0 victory, Aceves picked up the win.

The Sox move on to the Orioles & Wake takes the mound. Papi had his suspension reduced to 3 games & starts it tonight vs Balt. Crawford returns from the D.L.

Sox vs Rays finale

Beckett takes the mound as the Sox play the Rays looking to take the series with a WIN tonight at 8 p.m. Yesterday afternoon Sox picked up a win as Reddick, Ellsbury & Pedroia hit a homerun in the game.

Oriz vs Gregg

The Sox scored 8 runs & batted around in the 1st inning, to drive the Orioles pitcher from the game. The game was lopsided to the Sox winning 10-3. In the 8th inning Gregg threw 3 pitches at Papi & Papi was pissed. Gregg then got Papi to fly out and as Papi walked towards 1st, Gregg said "run to 1st" and Papi charged the mound. They both threw punches that missed and the benches & bullpens cleared. Gregg ran his mouth after the game, sorry ur on a crap team Gregg.

Lester had to leave the game after 4 innings without giving up a hit. He has a strained muscles in his shoulder. I hope he is ok, we need ya Lester. McDonald threw out his 1st career  guy at the plate to save the win for the Sox, as Papelbon came in and almost gave up the game.

I Love hot dogs & really love to eat them on the 4th of July weekend & at Fenway Park. a hot dog to me is a must eat food this weekend.

Francona picked up his 700th career win with the Sox in Philly. The Phillies is also Francona's former team he managed, so that makes it more sweet.

The Sox won the final game vs the Phillies 5-2. Lester pitched well & picked up his 10th win. Pedroia hit a solo hr & Tek hit 2 hr's.

The Sox play at 1:05 against the Phillies. They need a big win today to avoid the sweep. Let's go Sox, put on a laser show and get alot of runs for Lester.

Beckett vs Lee

The Sox take on the Phillies in Philly tonight. Beckett is on the mound vs Cliff Lee. The Sox need to step up their play, Phillies are a good team. I also HATE not having Papi in the lineup due to no DH in the N.L. Also it is good that he can be a pinch hitter, but Papi hasn't produced much off of the bench. GO SOX

Volunteering

Today I volunteered at Fenway through the Red Sox Foundation. I sorted out tons of baseball equipment & help coaches from Boston pick out all types of equipment for their youth  baseball & softball teams. It was such a GREAT feeling to be able to help out such a great organization & youth of Boston through the Red Sox.

The Sox turn to Lester to pitch well & give the Sox a chance to dominate the Pirates.Don't let them score 1st and often. I would say the Pirates don't worry me, but the Sox lost 2 out of 3 to the last place Padres. I also want the Sox to get a bigger lead & control over 1st in the A.L. East.

Miller pitched well for the Sox despite giving up a 3 run hr, he will do great things for the Sox. Pedroia played well as always & helped start our 7th inning rout with a walk & then Gonzalez started the huge rout of his former team-Padres.

Sox won tonight 10-4 against Brewers Lackey started rough and then turned it around. Pedroia had an awesome defensive night. Crawford left with hamstring issue, Youk left with stomach issue.
